Since 2023 Shannon has taught Contracts I & II to first-year law students at Monterey College of the Law. Since 2017 she has taught continuing education courses for attorneys through the Contra Costa Bar Association and CEB. Shannon served as an expert witness in a criminal trial in 2024. Before attending law school, she was an academic counselor at Holy Names College in Oakland, California. She has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” each year from 2019-2026. Prior to 2019, she was listed as a “Top Women Attorneys Rising Star”, and “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine – Northern California. She primarily practices in Contra Costa County taking cases in surrounding counties on a case-by-case basis. Shannon has significant trial experience yet encourages clients to consider the wide array of alternate dispute resolution options from mediation to collaborative law. Outside of the office, she likes to wander on Bay Area trails, paddle her kayak, and garden. She is the caretaker of three fluffy dogs. In 2023 she took up sourdough bread baking and will gladly share the sourdough starter she maintains. |
